Is It Ok To Get Out In In Rain? Explained everything With F.A.Q
On those cold days probably these days, rainy days when you forget your pain and rain jacket or umbrella and you want to stay as dry as possible. Ok let's ask you a question that what would you do stroll (walk) and spend more of your time in the precipitation? Or should you run in the downpour, which means you will be definitely smashing into more and more sprinkles from the side?
Hi guys, I am your lucky journal. We all know that rainy season is going on and today we are going to talk on Is It Ok To Get Out In In Rain? Explained everything With F.A.Q. As we all our common man and don't know about these in technical terms, so we will understand these all with an example.
I hope that you would eager to know about this. So, let's get started.
The Reality
Assuming that you haven't been fully soaked in the rain yet and you aren't jumping into puddles (a pool of rainwater), the answer is easy and simple. As you move out of the way of one falling raindrop, yet you move into the way of another. So the amount of rain hitting the top of you which is head is constant and at regular intervals of time, regardless of how fast you're going. So let's understand this with an example: The average walking speed of a human is 3 to 4 miles per hour and one the other hand where The average running speed of a human is 6 to 7 miles per hour.
Technically
Alternatively, you can picture that the raindrops themselves are stationary and you (and the earth beneath you to which you are stuck due to gravitational force) are moving upwards through the rain! And since the volume of a parallel piped (that's a 3_D parallelogram) doesn't depend at all on its slant surface, then no matter how fast you're moving horizontally the same reserve of rainfall will fall on top of you which is your head each second. Now, if you're not moving, the rain from the top is all that you'll get. But if you are moving, you'll also run into raindrops from the side and you'll get wetter and wetter. So in any amount of second, you will be drier by standing still, and the faster you move the wetter you become.
Examples
But if we try a different situation than if you're trying to get from point A to point B, then standing still won't do you much good. And a route from point A to point B, the total amount of rain you run into from the side has nothing to do with how fast you're going. So let's take an example of a snowplow which plow the same quantity of snow from a side of the road regardless of the exact speed it drives. In the case of running through the rain, you can figure that out using parallel pipes again.
So for a fixed amount of time, an equal segment of rain will smash you from the sky, not considering how much speed you are walking or running at some point in time. And for a specific distance, you'll smash the equal segment of rain from the side, but not relating to the speed you're walking.
Equalizing Equation
So, in technical terms, your total rate of getting wet is equal to the total rate of wetting per second for rain from the sky times the specific amount of time you spend in the rain + adding the wetness per meter for rain from the side * into the number of meters you travel. So to stay driest amongst all when traveling from one point A to another point B, you should try to minimize the amount of water falling onto you from above. And simply easily, that shows us that getting out in the time of rain is to travel as fast as possible from 1 point to another.
What to do during rainfall?
Everyone wants to do something in the rain like cooking, taking photos, etc. Here are some of the things that you can do when it rains::
- Cook or ask someone to cook some crispy snacks and have it watching the rain with tea/coffee. Please I request you to please cook yourself because mothers are also human things and we should give her some time to be entertained.
- Have a shower and click funny photos.
- Try to take shelter for stray dogs if you have them in your locality before the monsoon.
- Donate old raincoats, to rickshaw puller, homeless people.
- Give some time to your family because at the time of COVID-19 everybody is tensed and tries to cool everyone.
Main Motive
Our main motive is to tell this information to the masses so this can help them in their daily lives during the rainy season, So to make it more readable and more interesting, let's talk about the Frequently Asked Question. So, doubts would be cleared.
Frequently Asked Question
1. Going out in the rain makes you sick?If you get out in the rain without any precautions and equipment you will get down to cold, and if you are more prone to it.
2. How to get out in rain without getting sick?
Here are 3 steps for you to follow and be protected::
- Change your clothes immediately after the rain or when you come from outside.
- Dry hair immediately. After taking a bath with hot water, dry the body and hair under a heater if you are more prone to this.
- Consume warm foods and warm drinks. After bathing with hot water, all of you like me should have felt more comfortable.
So let's understand this with an example, let's imagine tomorrow's climate is that there is a 30% chance of rainfall. This doesn't only mean that there's only a 30% chance it will precipitate and a 70% chance it won't.
